RICE at Brown's Mart featured the stories and cultures of three of Darwin's Asian communities - Thai, Chinese, Nepalese. The weekend included traditional and contemporary performances, short film screenings, art and craft workshops, cultural demonstrations, an artists' talk, come and try circus activities, and Asian food stalls.

In the weeks leading up to RICE, local artists worked with the three communities to create a showcase of film (Thai), circus (Nepalese) and story-telling (Chinese) to be shared with audiences.
